King of Gentle Harvest This is the first of a series of illustrations that I have dubbed, “Neopantheon”. The Concept is based on the construction of deities as a way of personifying any particular aspect of human experience. This work is referencing our species adaptation to herd and care for animals as a means for subsistence in early cultures; and the respect and ritual associated with the taking of the animals’ lives.

This was also completed for the arc’s exhibition. I named this one “kill”, which is kind of a stupid title but i thought that a title conflicting with the bright happy colors would add interest… but its dumb

this was completed for the arc gallery’s “guerilla show 2” deadline. on the fly i named the piece “conquer distance”, as to satisfy the purpose of the show entry forms.

Complete! i think next time i paint some vomit i’d like it to be more drooley rather than a puke cloud. Thanks Erin for the great idea and money! it will be shipped to you as soon as it is dry.
